Late Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty is one of the main accused in the actor’s death case. SSR’s case took a drastic turn when his father lodged an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and her family accusing them of abetment of suicide, money laundering, and lots more. Now, in an interview, late Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty reacts to the money laundering allegations made against her family and her. The Jalebi actress explained herself and also revealed she gifted SSR a watch worth Rs 4 Lakh.
During an interview with CNN News18, when asked about the allegation that Samuel Miranda and she were using Sushant Singh Rajput’s money for their personal needs, that she had access to SSR’s card details and whether her family was living with the late actor and her when they were in a live-in relationship, Rhea Chakraborty reacted and said, “Absolutely not.” The actress then added, “Pehli baat, yeh sab ek bohot bada jhoot hai,” and called all the allegations made at her as ‘false’ ones. Rhea also mentioned that Sushant never gave her any money, but explained how SSR and she were a couple and revealed that things between them in terms of money were just like they would be between a normal boyfriend and girlfriend.
Talking about her spending, Rhea Chakraborty mentioned that she is an independent girl and would spend for herself. The actress added that it was not that just because she was a star, she would use anyone for money. Rhea added that Sushant kept her happy as a girlfriend, but there were no such expenses that he made on her which she made him do. She revealed that as a normal couple, her shopping bills were paid by Sushant, while she paid the other rest. Chakraborty continued, “Unhone mere birthday pe ghadi gift ki, jo ki 4 ya 5 Lakh kit hi. Maine unke Birthday pe ek ghadi gift ki jo 4 lakh kit hi.” The actress questioned that while Sushant gifted her a costly watch, why doesn’t anyone pay attention to the detail that she too gifted him a costly watch worth Rs 4 Lakh.

Meanwhile, today, Rhea Chakraborty was summoned for questioning by the CBI team. The actress arrived at the DRDO guest house that the CBI team is stationed at. On the other hand, Rhea’s brother Showik was also summoned for questioning, as per reports.
